Just What You Need

Isn't it funny when you're having an emotionally tumultuous day and every where something speaks to you telling you to "be stronger;" "hold through;" "follow your heart."

Yesterday was one of those days. You can go days and weeks having an amazing time just enjoying life, but at some point or another something's going to go wrong. Something's going to confuse you. Something's going to get in your way. What's the point of life, if not?

What I find funny -- coincidental, sent by God, serendipity, whichever you believe in -- is that life will present you with these things. 

Song lyrics. Quotes. Conversations with people. A new friend with exactly what you need (emotionally, physically, etc). 

Basically, you're always going to have something to keep you fighting on.

Have you ever been on the website, DoSomething.org?

Chances are, you have not. But let me tell you how cool it is. This site offers volunteer opportunities in almost any field you can imagine; the resources you need to start a club; and... *drum roll please* grants for your clubs you start up.

Each week this organization gives away 250 dollars in grants to start-up clubs as well as other grants and ways to win prizes. I found it on FastWeb.com and am attempting to use this to help with the warrior queen movement.

Even if the movement doesn't fit the criteria -- this website is still absolutely amazing. You know me, I'm always searching for volunteer opportunities and failing at finding them. This website offers exactly what I've been looking for.

Are you Ready For a Revamp?!

Things are happening over here as the blog is about to become more than just a blog. That's right, it's time that Warrior Queen becomes a full-blown movement that's gonna spread around the nation. So let me give you a little preview of what's to come by August --
