We've all had our fair share of bad Mondays and bad Tuesdays and just plain ol' bad days. Instead of focusing on the bad, what if we focused on the good things?

What if we focused on the little things that made us smile today, yesterday, last week? Could our whole attitude change? In time, would we find that we're having more good days than bad?

Oh my gatos, this week!! 
It was a little bit of a rollercoaster with a few panic attacks, but what can be expected when we're two weeks away from our wedding...
1. My heart is filled with so much love and gratitude!!! We have received so many amazing and wonderful gifts so far, words cannot express how grateful we are. In fact, one gift made me cry at lunch yesterday and the other gift made me cry when I was getting ready this morning! [thanks momma!!]

2. Iman and I had a crazy adventure yesterday getting stuff for our honeymoon - luggage and the like. We speckled it with some brewery visits to make it way more fun.

3. My cousin Gregory's birthday was on Saturday and it's always a rough day for me. He would have been 17 this year. Instead of feeling sad, I was determined to be happy and had a lot of fun doing wedding crafts.

4. Jess from Jess Loves This Life and I are planning something amazing for June and I am just too excited! 
5. On Wednesday I had dinner with two of my best friends from high school and it was so much fun to catch up!

This week's been a great one :)

1. Yesterday, I did so much fun wedding stuff! I went to our venue and talked flowers and details, tasted cupcakes and bought stuff for the table decorations. I LOVE DECORATING :)

2. I have my first giveaway going on!!

3. Today's an awesome day for me in blogland. I might be all over the place. Also, I'm almost at 500 followers :) 

4. Iman comes home tonight!!!!!!! (He's been at his bachelor weekend) 

5. For the first time the blog showed up in my Google Alert! Woo!!! I feel like such an accomplishment.

1. I am filled with so much gratitude and love from my family and bridal party this weekend. Britney threw me a wonderful bridal shower and I really felt both sides of our families connecting.

2. I feel so good in blogging right now. I am so connected to it and only see good things coming :) 
3. I won a couple of AWESOME giveaways last week - both going toward charities / causes! I won an Amazon gift card and beautiful Modern Tulip bracelet through my donation to the The Ivy Movement and then I also won an "Spread the Word to End The Word" shirt from Radiating Sunshine! (I bought a Fitbit with my Amazon gift card)

4. Iman and I had some fun with a wedding project yesterday! 

5. It's St. Patrick's Day!! I'm 1/4 Irish so it's a fun day. Oh and Friday was Pi Day! Can you say I love these holidays??

1. What makes you lucky? 

 I am lucky to have an amazing husband and a great family. I’m really close to my mom, she’s my best friend. My husband and I support each other with everything. I supported his decision to stay in Houston, and he supports my decision to open up a children’s line. I am lucky for my daughter. God blessed me with an amazing little girl. I am really lucky to have such beautiful people in my life.

2. If you found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, what would you spend it on? 

 Honestly, I probably wouldn’t spend it. I mean… it’s a pot of gold! At the end of the rainbow! But seriously, I am a very indecisive person, especially when it comes to purchases. I sit on the idea of buying something for weeks, and then I either do or don’t. My husband says I’m frugal in that way but honestly I’m just a little bit crazy ;)

3. What are you looking forward to most this spring? 

 Opening up my children’s line of clothing and accessories! Blogging has brought me so many great opportunities and this is a DREAM! I’m feeling so blessed and thankful for all the things that have been happening lately. I do blog design, but designing actual physical things that people can wear/touch/display is what I really wanted to do!

Last week was a tough one. They come around every once in awhile, but I am so happy that I had these little things that I can't help but grin...

1. Iman and I went bowling more this week. I suppose I should say that I went bowling with Iman more this week, since he probably bowled the same. It was fun and relaxing, mostly because it was just the two of us, or with a couple of friends :)

Blogger Happy Hour!! 

2. I participated in my first Blogger Happy Hour hosted by Erin @ Living in Yellow and Whitney @ I Wore Yoga Pants. That was fun - and gave me tons of ideas!
3. On Friday, I got my first Brazillian and it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would!!! 

My new watch!! Officially the first nice watch I've owned as well 

4. Saturday had an impromptu game night with some friends - We downloaded Cards Against Humanity [legally, for free!] and my friend gave me a moustache watch she had found! 
5. We had dinner with my grandparents yesterday. They're a little crazy, but I love them. It's was extra special because my grandpa was out of the hospital [he had sceptic shock last week] and I got to take one of his blue shirts home for my "something blue!"

1. I got to meet and hold (for 2 hours!) my nephew Oliver! He was born MONDAY NIGHT :) 

2. Wednesday was Career Day at school and THERE WAS A TILLER RIG. I'm obsessed

3. On Friday night, we started our night at our favorite sushi place. Our server is in the background. We love the place so much that we are probably going to invite the owner to our wedding. I mean, how many other sushi places does the owner come to give you a hug hello and goodbye?

We celebrated the rest of the night with Iman's friend Adam for his birthday! I LOVE barhopping now. :)

Well, it's the last Monday of January and I am still  waiting for my nephew to come! My friend is only 3 days past her due date though...I'm just impatient! I am ever so excited to post my 5 Little Grins though!!

OKAY, I love Mondays now. 
Seriously, you guys. I always am so happy on Mondays now when I get to remember the things that made me grin in the last week! I hope you have the same feelings! :) 
1. While he was in Vegas bowling, Iman bought our wedding rings!! It was totally unexpected because he was just supposed to try some on...now if only he will show me what his ring looks like!!
2. Two more little baby boys were born this week!! Iman had two cousins welcome their first children into the world. Prayers would be wonderful for our family, as one little boy was born early and he is in the NICU because he isn't breathing well
3. I spent Saturday with my wife just doing whatever - with no specific plans and it was just wonderful! That evening I got to see another one of my oldest friends for her birthday and I felt like a teenager again! 

4. Iman and I got our cake topper and some more wedding stuff in the mail!! 
5. I finally got a paycheck and I am happy to say that I survived one whole month on one paycheck!!
