Weekly Wishes #13

Last week was rollercoaster-y and busy. This week will be super busy, too! Eep, but I got a lot of awesome pictures taken on my adventures (take a look at the end!)

1// Get some serious research in for this really exciting opportunity. I did great at this! Well, organizing. Researching, not so much but the ball is in my partner's court!

2// Get some serious love going on the Not Just October NPO!! Success!! Check out their new website :)

3// Take Bella to the dog park! We postponed this till this week because we wanted to be sure it was a "good" dog park. But she did get 2 playdates in! 

4// Keep building my habits from last week. Oh EM gee I got this! 

1// Feel Balanced. This one is more of a feeling I'm striving for, so no set guidelines.

2// Work at Home Plan. I'm finally going full time with my company, so I'm working out a plan to stay on task. ALSO, since I'm working less shifts this week, I picked up a couple of shifts working office stuff for a friend.

3// Take pictures at my adventures! This week I'm heading to Disneyland for a bachelorette, and then the wedding is Sunday! Pictures are a must

4// Bake something for my grandpa's wake.

I had so much fun this past weekend. I went to a pumpkin patch and to Queen Mary's Dark Harbor! 

This was the best scare crow installation. It was made by a girl scout troupe!!

I am so grateful for our friend for getting us these tickets to Dark Harbor. The Queen Mary is legitimately haunted, and I've been on it a few times previously. Every year, a friend of mine runs the pyrotechnic team at this event, and this year we went and visited her!

p.s. I fed a baby lamb!

Big Chill 2013

Sometimes I like to make really cryptic titles that make no sense. It's like a revolt against the journalist in me. I do this with photo albums on FB mostly. I try to make it all funny or fancy, like the one time I made a fall album called [Fall]ing Together, and somehow that's when Iman and I started dating.

Crazy. Crazy, I tell you!

Anyway, this post isn't really about the cold. It's sort of to make fun of California but mostly to give you weekly post recap, with some photos!

Monday: We had another fun 5 Little Grins! I must confess..mine were mostly wedding related

Tuesday: I can't get enough of music and shared a couple of my favorite songs inspiring positivity.

Wednesday: I skipped Wedding Wednesday this week since I talked so much about wedding things on Monday. Instead, I linked up for Christmas is in the Air and shared my holiday movies.

Thursday: I used to be so outrageous until I became an adult.

What a Short Week!

Woah! It's already Saturday! How did that happen?

I only worked 3 days after a 4 day weekend, so forgive me for feeling like this past week went by way too quick! In typical fashion, here you can find all of my posts from the week in one spot! I'm on my way to a baby shower today, pics to follow!!

Monday: I'm still thanking all of those Veterans who have fought so hard for our country. I'm happy to say I didn't see any political posts on this day! I also told you all about my five little grins.

Tuesday: Cassie from 2 Teenage Girls guest posted one of my favorite posts I've read so far! This girl is amazing!

Wednesday: Bet you didn't think I would join a pole dancing studio? Read about my new-found love for this dance class.

Thursday: Let's get real for a second and talk about my anxiety.

It's Already November! [Weekly Recap]

How is it already the 2nd weekend of November? Time sure does fly by! Are you enjoying every day? I know I am trying my best!

This week...I set up my classroom!

AH! I have a classroom. I never would have thought this would be happening 6 months ago. I had a busy, busy week and I'm writing this on Friday night because I have a BUSY weekend. So let's talk about fun stuff, shall we?

Monday: Our 2nd 5 Little Grins had a little bit of a turn out and we are so excited for next week's. Starting my week out positive has really helped me prepare for the week. In case you didn't notice there are also THREE giveaways going on right now.

Tuesday: Christina @ Polka Dot Heart nominated me for a Sunshine Award!

Wednesday: I actually super loved this Wedding Wednesday post. I wrote about the unique purchases Iman and I are having at our wedding.

Thursday: Have you heard of Fresh and Easy because I'm sort of obsessed, oh and I'm being healthier. WIN!

Friday: Yesterday I wrote about my million jobs. That's actually a lot of jobs, really it has just been 17.

Today, I'm heading to a server meeting this morning (woohoo 7 a.m. bdubs meetings!) then my little munchkin's 2 year old birthday SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

Hopefully she isn't sick on her birthday this year :(

 After we're bowling with my coworkers at Planet Bravo. Sort of like a reunion since I haven't seen them since camp...and Iman loves bowling so it will be fabulous!!

Sunday is, of course, football Sunday!!!! Then Sinister. I. Am. Terrified. But excited. Haunted.

Last Week...
