Big Chill 2013

Sometimes I like to make really cryptic titles that make no sense. It's like a revolt against the journalist in me. I do this with photo albums on FB mostly. I try to make it all funny or fancy, like the one time I made a fall album called [Fall]ing Together, and somehow that's when Iman and I started dating.

Crazy. Crazy, I tell you!

Anyway, this post isn't really about the cold. It's sort of to make fun of California but mostly to give you weekly post recap, with some photos!

Monday: We had another fun 5 Little Grins! I must confess..mine were mostly wedding related

Tuesday: I can't get enough of music and shared a couple of my favorite songs inspiring positivity.

Wednesday: I skipped Wedding Wednesday this week since I talked so much about wedding things on Monday. Instead, I linked up for Christmas is in the Air and shared my holiday movies.

Thursday: I used to be so outrageous until I became an adult.

Last Week...

Sunday Night Hangs

Helllooooo! Anyone out there?

I know I kind of went a little bit missing in the last week. You'll find out why on Wednesday...don't be too anxious though - it's not something horrible!

My weekend was pretty fun and crazy. Now I'm sitting at Coffee Bean letting the blogging juices flow.

 I'm attempting to do that whole type all of my blogs on the weekend thing. This will be post #3 I've written for the week. You're so proud!

Yesterday I spent the day at the Sand Sports Super Show. It's the most awesome sand toy show and means it's officially the beginning of riding season. It's finally cooling down! I got super awesome news that I can actually register my 2 wheeler without having to pay back registration from the years that the old owner didn't have it registered. YAY! We also have enough quads again. My brother and I grew out of our kid quads so we've been short for the past few years. My dad had given me his and we sold mine so we only had 2 quads for the 3 of us. Then we added Iman! But last year my dad bought my brother a new quad, and my dad just got himself a new quad. I can always ride the kid quad because I'm so little...oooor learn to ride my 2 wheeler!

I got to see a lot of old friends that I haven't seen in a year or two. Even a couple I hadn't seen in 6 or  so! I was so excited and now I cannot wait for the season to begin! Dad got me some cool new swag from Damzl, too. We also got some new riding gloves and riding socks. Woo! Of course my gear is all pink..

 I was supposed to volunteer today, too. I had a headache when I woke up so we stayed home and we got $15 massages.

Today we said "see you later" to our favorite sushi chef. 6 months in Thailand!

Saturday Insta-Recap

So I'm watching the Ohio State game finally relaxing after a long, loooong week. I don't usually do recaps but I wanted to explain why I was MIA when I was posting daily for a few weeks. I also want to show my awesome Ohio State memes I found. I guess I will have to post my awesome OSU posts throughout the season.

Monday: I worked both jobs, essentially working from 8 a.m. - 12 a.m. I have also been doing freelance social media for my old boss, so that is what I do on my lunch break. I did make an extra $100 that I was not planning on making. I had some pretty awesome Draft Party tables!

Tuesday: I only worked at the auto shop, but it was a stressful day. We're in the midst of a transition to a new program and I'm taking on more work. I slept 4 hours this night.

Wednesday: I had a 10 minute speech, worked at the autoshop (through lunch), got off of work, went to Iman's work to eat dinner and then headed on over to work 6-12:30. It was a completely awesome shift. I was in dining and had a lot of draft parties. I was busy but everyone was totally cool and I ended up making my highest in tips ever. The whole day I was a zombie, but super appreciative of everything. On my way home I got hit by a hit and run driver. My car and I are mostly okay. I probably need an alignment and my neck has been hurting. Luckily I have my chiro visits. Iman was driving ahead of me so he was able to get the driver's license plate. We had to wait up until 1:45 for the CHP officers to come give them a statement. I'm not sure if they found the driver, but I hope so. I filed a claim on Thursday.

Thursday and Friday were just filled with being super busy at work and trying to rest when I got home. I'm behind by three days or so, plus it is a holiday weekend (we're open today and Monday), so I might be 5 days behind. Plus we have training next week for our new system. BUT I am planning on prescheduling posts so I don't run into the same problem.

Since it's Saturday...maybe an Instarecap? :)
