I feel like everything is rushing past me and I'm in hyperspeed! I've got a ton of things upcoming and I'm trying to arrange my time priorities and I'm just feelin a little exhausted! So I guess this post is a "life lately" type of post. It'll be one part recap, one part looking at the future and one part OMG where is this blog going? :)
It sounds like fun to me.
Anyway, I feel like my life has been consumed with planning this year. I like to plan, but I'm feeling the need for some sponteneity.
March was full of events like my bridal shower and bachelorette party.
April was all about the wedding and honeymooning.
May was filled with fun times with friends and getting ready to move...which leads me to now...we're all moved in and I'm working on unpacking!
June is always one big celebration...It's mine and Iman's birthdays + his best friend's birthday + the end of school + the best month ever! Cassi and I are doing a BIG Blogger's Give Back giveaway this month and we are accepting participants for 2 more days!! Email me to get in on the giveaway!
July is full of 2 Vegas trips, a wedding and my cousin's babyshower!
In August we've got my dad's big 5-0 and my brother's golden birthday -- 21, no less. We're also going to see Eminem and Rihanna AND school will probably start back up.
I can't even think about September yet...
I have no Saturdays free all summer long and I have a feeling that will not bode well with my serving job hunt to make some extra dough. We'll see what happens though...*fingers crossed*
Oh yeah, remember when I did 25 before 25 last year? Well...here's an update...
1. Keep my room clean every day. This has been a goal since childhood -__- bahahahahaha
2. Create and keep a Bedtime Routine. once again, I'm trying this one out with the move...but I don't think 1 day counts as a routine!
3. Do a 30-day Challenge. This month I am doing Erin @ Living Yellow's #1000in30 challenge AND a yoga challenge. WOO
4. Read 25 books. I think I read 2 or 3 max...#fail
7. Make healthier eating habits - don't eat take out for 1 month. Wow, I love to fail on this!
8. Jog 5 miles without stopping. bahahahaha
9. Take my quad up China Wall. we didn't make it out to Glamis for this...next year!
10. Donate Blood. I ended up getting a tattoo, so I'm unable to donate for awhile.
11. Give Chuck some TLC. I'm taking a loss on this one. We really tried to get him smogged but he won't pass. Next year he's gonna get slapped with a non-op registration.
13. Wear an "outfit" to work every day for a month. I'm still working on my style
15. Cook dinner every day for 2 weeks no, but I'm getting better!
18. Go Paintballing. We have already purchased 2 packages...we just haven't used any.
19. See a meteor shower with Iman
20. Ride in the Great Orange Balloon.
21. Learn to cook on the Weber
22. Decorate a cake.
24. Send my OSU friends a letter/card once a month starting in September.
8 out of 25 is not very great but we could add in some other accomplishments like...decorate our home, get married, donate a bunch, become a teacher, etc etc. I'm not disappointed with my year!!
I'm so excited to do some revamp stuff this summer, too. I've got so many ideas floating around in my head for the future of this blog! Stay tuned!!
