Well, today is the day that the long-awaited ceremony pictures get posted! :) I'm so excited to share these with you and, I must admit, as I picked out these images I cried going through all of these emotions all over again.
I'm writing this as Iman lays in bed beside me. I'm pretty sure he's late for work but I've tried to wake him up and he keeps telling me it's okay, so what's a wife to do?
Anyway, here he is coming down the aisle.
I just love the look on his face as he sees everyone he loves. Though, he says that he didn't notice any of our guests during the ceremony. This look of pure joy and excitement is just adorable!
I knew right away that I wanted my mom and Iman's dad to walk down the aisle with us. They're some of our best friends and I couldn't think of anyone better to have escorted my mom down the aisle.
Iman's grandparents and aunt walked down the aisle just before my mother and his father. The bridesmaids and groomsmen followed behind them.
I absolutely love this picture for all of its vibrance. It really reminds me that we picked colors that stand out in the perfect touch. As I mentioned last week, our ring bearer was very nervous, but he did a great job.
This was our flower girl's second wedding so she knew what to do!
This picture is just so precious to me! Look at Iman's face as they came up to him/the best man.
And, this is when I started walking down the aisle. If you couldn't tell by Iman's facial expression :)
I have a couple of AMAZING pictures of his "first look" face and I just die every time I see them!!
Papa P and I just casually strolling down the aisle. It's a good thing he prefers to stroll, because I would have probably ended up sprinting down the aisle. Notice my death grip on his arm and his casual /comfortable demeanor. Typical Papa Perry :)
The captured emotions are really what get me in every picture. This is my dad leaving me down the aisle. I like that he didn't hand me off to Iman, because I refused to let him say he was giving me away.
This picture is so typically Iman and I. I'm just standing their awkwardly, unsure what to do with my hands and he's over there checking me out.
Again, the hands. I don't know what to do with my hands!
Iman's brothers read us a passage.
And of course, I cried.
Happy Wedding Wednesday!
p.s. If you notice some of my photo captions are in different fonts. It's because I started out in PicMonkey but then the images got too large. I didn't feel like changing them all again, so I left it up. Also, all photos are from Holly Lynn Photography, of course!

EEEEK I was waiting patiently for this post to come along!! Haha I just love your awkwardness ..it's so adorable. I'm like that too though, where the heck do I put my hands?!
ReplyDeleteIt looks absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful ceremony and beautiful wedding. Love this post! Simply gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLove these! Keep them coming because I love wedding photos and can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Your awkwardness reminds me of my own. I never know what to do with my hands and I remember trying not to laugh out of nervousness during my ceremony. That's captured in one photo so clearly! Haha! It's so nice to have all of those emotions bottled up in pretty photos you'll be able to hold on to for years to come. :)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful! I love the colors especially since they make everything look bright and summery! Congrats and I am so happy you have beautiful photos to remember the day!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are beautiful! I love the red converse. Too cute! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteKatreena
Thank you so much!!! In our family, it just makes more sense to rock Converse instead of fancy shoes
ReplyDeleteThank you so, so much!!!!!
ReplyDeleteahh! I love it!! I am so awkward! Our officiant didn't tell everyone to sit back down once we reached the front and my dad left me up at the altar, so for the first 2 minutes everyone was standing and I was literally mouthing to Iman the whole time "MAKE THEM SIT DOWN!" Everyone standing was making me way more nervous. Afterward, everyone told me they knew they should have sat down but they wanted to be RIGHT there with us as we were getting married and that's why they kept standing lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I wasn't the only awkward one! At least it's cute awkward
hahahaha thank you!! I know! I love the look on his face!
ReplyDeleteAh! I will!! We have over 1000 pictures that she gave us, so realistically I could post a photo a day for over 2 years and people STILL wouldn't see all of them.
ReplyDeletealso THANK YOUU!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! :)

ReplyDeletehahaha, I love that you were waiting!!! I have all of the pix on FB, if you want to stalk me! lol, they're under my tagged pix!
ReplyDeleteAnd seriously though, it's a running joke in my family when I start freaking out. They all yell "Hands on the table! hands on the table!" and then I put my hands down and calm down. lol
I love these photos!!! I just recently went through my wedding photos again and it's so fun! =) I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.
