Well, today is the day that the long-awaited ceremony pictures get posted! :) I'm so excited to share these with you and, I must admit, as I picked out these images I cried going through all of these emotions all over again.
I'm writing this as Iman lays in bed beside me. I'm pretty sure he's late for work but I've tried to wake him up and he keeps telling me it's okay, so what's a wife to do?
Anyway, here he is coming down the aisle.
I just love the look on his face as he sees everyone he loves. Though, he says that he didn't notice any of our guests during the ceremony. This look of pure joy and excitement is just adorable!
I knew right away that I wanted my mom and Iman's dad to walk down the aisle with us. They're some of our best friends and I couldn't think of anyone better to have escorted my mom down the aisle.
Iman's grandparents and aunt walked down the aisle just before my mother and his father. The bridesmaids and groomsmen followed behind them.
I absolutely love this picture for all of its vibrance. It really reminds me that we picked colors that stand out in the perfect touch. As I mentioned last week, our ring bearer was very nervous, but he did a great job.
This was our flower girl's second wedding so she knew what to do!
This picture is just so precious to me! Look at Iman's face as they came up to him/the best man.
And, this is when I started walking down the aisle. If you couldn't tell by Iman's facial expression :)
I have a couple of AMAZING pictures of his "first look" face and I just die every time I see them!!
Papa P and I just casually strolling down the aisle. It's a good thing he prefers to stroll, because I would have probably ended up sprinting down the aisle. Notice my death grip on his arm and his casual /comfortable demeanor. Typical Papa Perry :)
The captured emotions are really what get me in every picture. This is my dad leaving me down the aisle. I like that he didn't hand me off to Iman, because I refused to let him say he was giving me away.
This picture is so typically Iman and I. I'm just standing their awkwardly, unsure what to do with my hands and he's over there checking me out.
Again, the hands. I don't know what to do with my hands!
Iman's brothers read us a passage.
And of course, I cried.
Happy Wedding Wednesday!
p.s. If you notice some of my photo captions are in different fonts. It's because I started out in PicMonkey but then the images got too large. I didn't feel like changing them all again, so I left it up. Also, all photos are from Holly Lynn Photography, of course!
