Anastasia Amour + #ProjectPositive

I have not been on top of my A game since this school year started and that is seriously starting to bug me!! I hate leaving days without posts and days without time to read other blogs. It makes me the saddest.

What makes up for that, is keeping up with Anastasia Amour! Anastasia's been on my sidebar all month, and I must admit, I let out a girlish squeal when I saw that she wanted an ad on my page. Excuse my blog crush, but I can't help but gush about her.

First of all, she's a warrior queen through and through. Anastasia's blog is all about loving yourself! I mean, hello, that's part of being a Warrior Queen!!

What first caught my eye about Anastasia is #ProjectPositive. She's actually about to jump-start round 2 at the beginning of next year (seriously, it's closer than you think) and I can't wait to jump on board. If you want more details you can go here.

You might be wondering how Anastasia started her blog. Like most of us, it came out of a love for writing - and a desire to have her own slice of the internet.

"I've always been a writer, and starting a blog was something that I had on the backburner for a verrrrrry long time (5 years - yep, that's some serious procrastination!). During that time, I experimented with other platforms such as Tumblr and Blogger, but never really found the platform for me. I had all these thoughts swimming around in my head but they weren't clearly defined and I knew that I wanted to have a defined pathway for myself before I started. So when I finally gathered my thoughts and worked out how to carve my niche, I started - and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!"

Just like me, it took her awhile to figure out where she wanted to go with her blog. I feel as though we're soul sisters or something! Maybe we'll have to do something collaborative in the future ;)

Not only does Anastasia have #ProjectPositive but all of her blog posts kick you in the teeth with passion. Seriously, this type of passion can't be faked!!

Here are her most recent posts...not even her "top" posts, just the most recent to give you an idea of how motivating this girl can be. Seriously, she should be my best friend andItotallyrealizeImgushingbutIdontcare.

What happens when friends and family are unsupportive?
How we police girls' bodies and why it's a problem
Why we need to stop trading authenticity for approval

Have you checked out Anastasia's blog yet? Seriously, get your booty over there. There are afterall...big things in her future.

Don't believe me. Here are her words: "The future of AnastasiaAmour.com is HUGE! I don't want to spill the beans right now, but there are some pretty major things coming up that I can't wait to show you all! You'll just have to wait and see ;)"

Introducing Warrior Queen Monthly

Lately, I've been dreaming up new ways for Warrior Queen to get out there in the world, and one of those ways is to create a newsletter. I have had some people sign up for the monthly newsletter. I'm going to be sending my first newsletter out on September 1st, so I thought I'd make it official with a blog post about it!

Right now, it will most likely be a recap of the past month, but I want to start doing a Warrior Queen spotlight, etc.

I always love getting newsletters from fellow bloggers and have been dreaming of one for awhile. This school year, I'm really wanting to take things up a notch. While, I didn't move to WordPress like I had hoped, I will probably end up there eventually.

Other changes you can look forward to: sponsor changes - making it more about Warrior Queen stuff - #FightLikeAWarriorQueen t-shirt designs, more ways to give back, an awesome wedding series and that cryptic new opportunity I mentioned last week (note: there may be an e-book in the works).

Things are so exciting, and I can't believe how far this blog has grown in the past year! This time last year, I was just getting into the habit of posting daily, and my friendship with Paulina was just beginning. (That girl teaches me so much!)

Warrior Princess Sponsor Love

Today, I am feeling ambitious! After I post this I am planning on taking two workout classes. TWO in one day. I might die. I also might have an amazing amount of endorphins. And afterward, I'm going to reward myself with pizza...just because Iman offered and I never get pizza...you guys don't even know. When your fiance is a general manager of a Papa John's you have to beg for pizza.

On Tuesday, after my workout class he had tried to surprise me with a pizza, but I didn't know. So I innocently drove home and he called JUST as I was getting off the freeway by our house. So I made him promise he'd make me one today.

Tonight, is my first work Christmas party in LA. Woo hoo! Boo to traffic. So I'm going to be running around today. I definitely want to share this blog love though and introduce you to my amazing Warrior Princess sponsors this month.

These ladies are amazing and I have loved getting to know them!

Hello! My name is Stacia and I blog over at The Homey Owl. I married my husband Michael this past May and we live in a cute little apartment with our crazy cat, Maximus. On my blog I share peaks into our funny lives, yummy recipes, diy projects, and the occasional fashion-y post. I like to think of it as a minorly eclectic, but always honest and warm, corner of the internet. I am thrilled to be here on Warrior Queen, and find it slightly tongue in cheek because Michael often refers to me as his warrior maiden. When I'm not blogging my heart out, I am a wedding planner, rain dancer, Doctor Who nerd, friend encourager, perpetual hair dyer, and inspiration seeker. I hope you stop by and stay for a while!

[We were pretty much destined to be friends by the warrior maiden reference. just saying!]

After my husband and I got married and moved 10+ hours away from everyone and everything we ever knew, I started a blog to keep people back home in the loop of our life. Since then my blog has grown into so much more than that! I love the community and the hobby that it has become. Pearson (my husband) and I graduated from Harding University (mascot = Bisons) and now Pearson is in grad school at The Ohio State University (mascot = Buckeyes). Hence the title "From Bisons to Buckeyes and Beyond."

Hi! My name is Sarah and I blog at Oh, the things I think. I am a vintage-dress-loving Kiwi who lives in Houston, Texas with my sweet husband. I like to share my stories of life as an expat, adventures in thrifting, crafting ideas and my learning curve with photography.

Sponsor Spotlight: Kieran Honeybee

Happy Tuesday!

How is everyone today? Did you link up for yesterday's 5 Little Grins? Did you enter the Blogger's Give Back Giveaway? Get to it! :)

Today I wanted to introduce you to Kara from Kieran Honeybee! She's been hanging out at the bottom of every post this past month. Here's some more to get to know her:

My name is Kara, writer of this little slice of heaven.  Sometimes I make things, sometimes I cook yummy food.  Mostly I love my husband and our pup, Emmett. I am a full time student which takes up most of my time but when I have some down time I LOVE to read. We live in the south where its scorching year round and the bugs are super sized.  We dream of moving to the west coast and buying an old house with lots of land where our children can run around.  I crave the fresh, clean air from my hometown and rarely wear shoes.  I am a bit of a hippy but lean towards peace and away from patchouli. I love to hear the rain on my roof, an occasional dr pepper, and my sewing machine.

I love all of Kara's DIY posts, mostly because she makes it so easy for me to do them, too! Check out a few of my favorite posts by Kara, and stop on over and say hello to her!!

Have a great Tuesday! I think I am still recovering from my weekend - I am so tired and the house is just a wreck. Did I mention that yesterday my computers at work decided to be a little wacky?

Bloggers Give Back Sponsor Search

Hey Warrior Queens!

I am just bursting at the seams with excitement about all of the love and giving back I've found in my corner of the blogging community. I hope you're loving it as well :)

After all, this is one of my biggest identifiers as a warrior queen - the ability to share my love and be the best of me. A few weeks ago [or maybe it was a month ago] I won the Bloggers Give Back Giveaway and, in typical Raewyn fashion, I asked how I could participate in the next one. Not only can I participate, but you can too!

Lesley @ By The Porchlight was kind enough to share her post reaching out for sponsors with me. Below you can find all of the information to also sponsor this giveaway!

Remember the first round of Bloggers Give Back when Raewyn, from the blog Warrior Queen, won a $120 donation to to the charity of her choice? She chose the wonderful cause "To Write Love On Her Arms" and was so enthusiastic about the giveaway that now she is going to help me co-host the second round! Very happy to have her.

Now, in case you don't remember Round 1, let me tell you about this very unique giveaway! The entries work just like any other paid giveaway BUT this time all of the money raised will be donated to the charity of the winner's choice!

Would you like to get in on the action? Here are the giveaway entry options - and remember, it's all for a charity!
1 Bloglovin' or GFC entry = $5
+ Facebook AND Twitter entries = add another $5
+ Pinterest = add another $5
+ Instagram = add another $5

Interested in ALL options? That's a total of $20.00, all for a good cause of the winner's choice!

The giveaway will take start on November 3rd.
If you choose to sponsor this giveaway, please send me all your links, an unedited photo of yourself and tell me what your charity of choice would be! Money should be sent via PayPal to lesleyaraymond@gmail.com.

This is going to be a great round of Bloggers Give Back! I hope you'll join in!
