Five Little Grins Link Up [Week 33] + Giveaway

We'll go ahead and say it: Most people think Mondays suck / are the worst / should die a fire-y death. I'm sure you get the picture.

We've all had our fair share of bad Mondays and bad Tuesdays and just plain ol' bad days. Instead of focusing on the bad, what if we focused on the good things?

What if we focused on the little things that made us smile today, yesterday, last week? Could our whole attitude change? In time, would we find that we're having more good days than bad?

Of course, you all probably know that I am obsessed with giving back!! It's been difficult to give back lately because of the wedding, but I have still managed to attend as many Bloggers Give Back events as I can. My favorite way of giving back is to pay it forward, but if I had to pick one charity I would pick TWLOHA. They do so much for so many people, no matter the circumstance! I'm also a big lover of the Make a Wish Foundation.

Summer Changes

Happy Friday!

Things have been a little less structured over here because when I do change I like to do CHANGE. As in, let's change everything at the same exact time! I used to do this and get really freaked out - Like when I went away to college, broke up with my boyfriend, made new friends, pierced my nose and dyed my hair. Cue an identity crisis.

To be 18 and confused...the duckface says it all

I've gotten better at not giving myself identity crises, but I still remain the same with the change front. I'm not sure why. As you all know, in the past two months I've gotten married and moved and changed jobs (well sort of). All of these are WAY BIGGER than those that caused me to freak out when I went away to college.

I'm definitely not freaking out, I'm just adjusting. I'm trying to find the balance between going to the gym (oh I really want to do this), blogging, my at home work, restaurant work and family / friend / husband time. Oh, did I mention that Iman and I just celebrated our birthdays? Mine was a week ago and his was yesterday...and birthdays pretty much mean we take a week off from everything. JK but sorta.

So anyway, I'm over here trying to do some behind the scenes blog stuff + these work things and it's making my posts look like all random life updates and no fun informative posts (like warrior queen posts...I love those!

So we'll see when that starts to happen again. Hopefully on Monday? I promise there are so many in the works, especially with Jess and my excitement at all things blog.

In the meantime, you will definitely find a giveaway at the end of this post. AND tomorrow Cassi and I are hosting one for our blogiverseries!

Hard to believe but this little blog of mine has been active for 5 years! I didn't have much momentum at first, but it's there!! WOO!
