5 Little Grins Link Up [Week 8]

Good morning!

Lezzbehonest I'm not actually functioning that great today. I'm not sure who decided it was a great idea to give me a whole week off of work for Thanskgiving and make my insomnia tendencies rear their ugly little heads!

I enjoyed my break immensely, missed my students very much and had a little bit of freedom and a lot of productivity, I felt a little absense over the past week since I wasn't glued to my computer all day every day. It was pretty nice!

So I have a bunch of stuff that I am grinning about today, but my brain is sort of doing it's own thing so let's see if it all makes sense! Wait, what is 5 Little Grins, you say?

5 Little Grins

We'll go ahead and say it: Most people think Mondays suck / are the worst / should die a fire-y death. I'm sure you get the picture.

We've all had our fair share of bad Mondays and bad Tuesdays and just plain ol' bad days. Instead of focusing on the bad, what if we focused on the good things?

What if we focused on the little things that made us smile today, yesterday, last week? Could our whole attitude change? In time, would we find that we're having more good days than bad?

Cassandra, Paulina and I would love for you to join us on our weekly link up counting at least 5 things that made you smile in the last week. We could start our Mondays on this positive note!

Of course, this is all about encouragement, so hop on over to some other blogs and leave a positive note and make a new friend!
The Rules! (These are really just kind suggestions)

1. Follow your hosts: Cassandra, Raewyn, and Paulina!

2. Link up your post that includes 5-ish things that made you smile in the past week

3. Comment after you link up

4. Go visit some other blogs and make some friends!

5. Have fun, and don't forget to smile!!

And these my dears, are my five very big grins from this past week!

Some of our favorites!

1. Yesterday was possibly the best Football Sunday I've had!! We had a bunch of us at this amazing pub where there were bottomless mimosas, darts, pool and football. DUH! After spending about 6 hours there, we played some touch football and then went somewhere else for dinner. It was so wonderful hanging out with these people!!

2. Speaking of, I had a lot of fun seeing ALL of my friends that I saw this week, especially Erykka, who I haven't seen in almost 3 years even though we live 10 minutes apart!

MY brother and Iman think they're thugs #snapchat

3. Thanksgiving was wonderful with our families. We even Facetimed with Shanghai!!

4. I finally got to start my dance classes - my cold went away minus a lingering cough. Blah!

5. OSU beat that state up north on Saturday in a VERY nerve-wrecking game!!!
