Weekly Wishes #5

How is it already another week? Last week was more productive (a little anxious, but overall, relaxing because I was given some days off of work). How was your last week?

1// Have a date day with Iman. We had a couple! On Weds, we walked from our apartment to a Pho place about a mile away, then on Friday we ordered in and watched movies just us two.

2// Get the kitties teeth cleaned / check up. They are healthy as can be! They were really entertaining when they were coming off the anasthesia.

3//  Meet my cousin's baby!!!! She's here!

4// Make a blog calendar for September

5// Set up some doctor's appointments. I still need to find a therapist and set up a dentist appointment!

This week's goals!!

1// Start school on a great note. I have prep for my classes this week, and I'm hoping to start it out grounded. It's a lot more running around than last year, but I am excited.

2// Pack lunches. Since I'm only working in LA two days a week, this shouldn't be as difficult as it was for me last year. I'm hoping to get into the habit, and of having healthy breakfasts in the morning - even if they are just breakfast carnation smoothies!

3// Eat breakfast everyday. I royally suck at this, but I know it is so important. I am going to go grocery shopping and get the essentials. All of my Zone Perfect Nutrition Bars should help out!

4// Set up my doctor appointments that I was supposed to set up last week. I was unsure what my schedule would be, but I did set up an oil change for my car!

5//Return our last few wedding gifts. We have a couple of duplicates left that I want to return so that I can get some new black shirts for my restaurant job.

  3. This is a great idea. I'm a list maker at heart, but sometimes I think I get more out of making the list than following through. Posting my list online might help to keep me accountable.

  5. Totally reminds me I have to call my dentist and my lady doctor tomorrow.

  12. I have to prep EVERYTHING the night before or I end up at work wearing an outfit that doesn't match and grabbing food that doesn't go together. Often I'll forget silverware or some crucial ingredient of my meal, as well! Glad to know I'm not the only one who is a wreck

    ReplyDelete
  13. That is exactly how I used to feel, but posting it on my blog definitely makes me feel accountable!

    ReplyDelete
  14. They're the easiest to procrastinate!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. They are!! They're my go-to when I'm hungry and in a rush, but I can't use the blender in the mornings. I leave for work at 5:30AM and our roommate sleeps in the living room, he would hate me!

  16. Thanks Carly! I hope you have a productive week, too!

  17. Thanks!! Breakfast is so important but so easily forgotten. I almost forgot today, but ate half a bean and cheese burrito. Sometimes eating weird food for breakfast is the only way to go.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I love these weekly wishes! I suck at eating breakfast too, unless a cup of coffee counts...? :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Returning wedding gifts is such a process! Especially if people forget the gift receipt.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm the worst at eating breakfast everyday. Congrats on reaching your goals.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love the idea behind this post! Thanks for sharing the idea. Also congrats on almost getting all your goals for last week completed. I tend to procrastinate on the appointments myself! :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. right?? I haven't officially met her yet, but I have daily pictures in my phone!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I love to eat breakfast foods, just not necessarily at breakfast times

    ReplyDelete
  49. hahha, I wish a cup of coffee counts! It only counts if it's mixed with nutrients...I wonder if we could somehow do that...

    ReplyDelete
  50. ack it really is! We literally have two things left, and only forgot them because one we were using to keep our cabinet closed (so I forgot that we had 2 blenders) and the other was in a bag somehow shoved in the closet! Luckily they were both on our registry at macy's!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Thank you!! Ugh, breakfast is just so hard because I'm just so tired lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. Appointments are the worst to make! Especially when I dread going to the dentist!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Here you are again accomplishing your goals and to-do's. I love this list idea... still!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. You definitely need to do the oil change! Does the light on your car pop up? I tend to ignore it (shame on me) but alas, it must be done!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Great goal to have breakfast in your list. I am still trying to work that into my life but not getting there as fast as I should. Only end up having breakfast twice a week, but getting there, getting there.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hmm, don't think I've ever been on a day date but it sounds lovely

    ReplyDelete
  59. haha it is so hard!! I got breakfast carnation drinks and make those on the mornings that I have work and don't have time for breakfast

    ReplyDelete
  60. haha, aww thanks Lyssa! Definitely try it out :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. It doesn't!!! I'm usually really on top of my car maintenance because I've worked at various auto shops...but they usually just did it for me so with things all over the place this summer it got forgotten. THEN a light came on in my car on Thursday and it was SO SO bad. I had to put 2 quarts of oil in my car just to finish getting to work. SOOO don't ignore your light, because it really could damage your engine. I wish my car had a light that came on, but now I will pay more attention

    ReplyDelete
  62. Thank you so much Amber! So far so good!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Sounds like you're ready for a great week! I hope it's a FANTASTIC one :)
